Clever Businessman Vs Cheat

Once upon a time, there was a kind young businessman who sold beautiful clothes of every color and pattern. People believed in him so much that they bought from him without a single worry.

His business grew, and he began traveling to many towns. Each month, he planned exactly where he would go and stayed in small inns during his trips.

In one inn, he noticed a man who played dice every evening. The dice man never lost! Intrigued, the businessman joined the game for fun.

But after five tries, he hadn’t won once.

The businessman grew suspicious. He decided to watch the dice man very carefully. That's when he discovered the trick! While everyone's eyes were turned away distracted by something he pointed at, the dice man would quickly put one of the dice into his mouth and use it to cheat.

The businessman didn't want to embarrass him right away. Instead, he thought of a clever plan.

A month later, he returned to the same inn. He played the dice game again, this time, bringing a harmless but very bitter-tasting fake dice he had made himself. When the cheating dice man put it in his mouth, his face changed into a terrible grimace. He spat it out in front of everyone!

The businessman quickly explained how the dice man had been cheating all along. Everyone was angry. The innkeeper sent the dice man away and thanked the businessman for protecting their money.

From that day on, no one in that inn was ever tricked by a game of dice again.
