Harry‑Potter Studio Tour

My family went to London to celebrate my birthday last month. There, we had an amazing day at the Harry Potter Studio Tour. I love Harry Potter, and if you're like me, this place is perfect for you.

Touristy(吸引游客的) things are rarely my cup of tea, but this tour took me by surprise. It started with a short film about the history of the Harry Potter films. Then, the real fun began after we entered the Great Hall. It was huge! I really felt like I was at Hogwarts. As we went on, we found ourselves on other sets (片场) such as the Gryffindor common room and Dumbledore’s office. There were costumes, props(道具) and more from the films everywhere.

Then we walked through the Forbidden Forest. To be honest, I didn't find it very scary. I also realised my dream of flying on a broomstick. While reading the books, I wanted to fly next to Harry and Hermione.

For me, the best part of the tour was not Platform 9 and 34 but the finale (最后一幕). There we saw a huge model of Hogwarts Castle. It took my breath away when I looked at it up close. After all, Hogwarts has been my dream school since childhood.

At the end of the tour was a gift shop full of cool things like chocolate frogs and magic wands. And guess what? I bought a chess set! I didn't really need it because I had three sets already, but who can say no to? I couldn't wait to go home and let the two queens fight, or would they?
